SALFOOD

Here’s one of my shoots from my Final Major Project called BECOME UNSTOPPABLE (a project inspired by all things Salford Uni).

Salfood is Salford University’s student cafe, it provides easy, on-the-go food and has range of hot drinks from Costa coffee.

To bring Salfood to life, my shoot uses surrealism to create its own fantasy world of food.

STUDENT AWARDS

Here’s another one of my shoots from my Final Major Project called BECOME UNSTOPPABLE (a project inspired by all things Salford Uni).

It’s tradition for a university graduation year book to include student awards and ‘most likely to’s...’. These awards are often predictions of what each student is mostly to do or become in the future.

This shoot features eight imaginary student awards:

Most likely to...

...be a crazy cat lady

...go to space

...be a green belt in karate

...be the president

...travel the world

...join the circus

...eat the most take aways

...have tea with the Queen.

SOCIETIES

Here’s another one of my shoots from my Final Major Project called BECOME UNSTOPPABLE (a project inspired by all things Salford Uni).

University societies are organisations run by students at the univerisity. It’s a place where students or alumni can come together and connect with others who have similar interests and passions.

This shoot features seven Salford Univeristy societies: HorroRock, Parkour, Gaming, Karting, Wellness, Wildlife and Photography. These have all been portrayed in a comedic over the top style.

JOYBOX

As part of a group project for university we had to create a brand from scratch. We then created a collection of objects and garments for that brand to sell as part of a pop up shop on the @fims.uk website. Our brand is called JOYBOX and it has been made to help spread happiness and joy.

My Honest Body

These images have been made as part of my visual piece for my dissertation. I documented three body types and wanted to help spread a powerful messages of self-love by capturing the beautiful human form, raw and unfiltered.

Box Boy

Meet Box Boy. Born with a box as a head, he struggled to fit in. After receiving a mean comment on social media, Box Boy began to lose sight of who he was. Following his obsession with faces, we see him learn that it’s okay to be different.

Why Wait?

Ever thought of saying f**k it to your fears and worries, sod it to mental health problems and ‘why wait?’ to try new things? I asked twenty people what they’ve been putting off doing and what would be top of their ’why wait? - do it now’ list.

Here’s a fun, photographic look at what those people had to say...

Turning It Around

We all have good days and bad days. The big question is how do you turn a bad day into a good day?

Have you ever tried turning it around... literally?

*while stocks last

This editorial was a follow-on project, off the back of my Consumption photobook. It examines the word ‘consumption’ and, in a fun and light hearted way, looks at food and fashion consumerism.

Communication Interruption

This editorial shoot was designed for Purple Magazine. I looked at the ‘coloured overlays’ that people with Dyslexia use, when reading, to overcome visual perceptual problems. I used this to inspire a photoshoot where I used different coloured obstacles and distractions between the model and the camera to dramatise ‘Communication Interruption’.

Struggle Magazine

The brief for this magazine was to look at a daily life struggle. My idea, called ‘soak’d’ centred around the fear of getting your hair wet when it rains.

(Anyone with a fringe will understand this one of life’s struggles)
